Two people have died following a crash involving a Hyundai H100 bus and a Ford tractor on the Kpetoe-Sarakope stretch of the Accra-Aflao Highway.
The accident occurred on Saturday, September 26, 2026, as both vehicles were travelling from Kpetoe towards Aflao when they collided.
The Hyundai H100 was carrying 12 passengers, while two people were travelling in the Ford tractor, bringing the total number of occupants involved in the crash to 14.
Firefighters from the Kpetoe Fire Station responded to the scene and rescued all the occupants before handing them over to the National Ambulance Service and the Ghana Police Service.
The injured victims were subsequently transported to the Ho Teaching Hospital for medical care.
However, a male and a female victim were later pronounced dead at the facility.
The Ghana National Fire Service has renewed its appeal to motorists to exercise caution, avoid dangerous overtaking and comply with road safety regulations to reduce crashes and fatalities.
