The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Regional Organiser for the Oti Region, Sulemana Mumuni, has urged party executives and aspiring constituency executives to remain united throughout and after the ongoing vetting process.
He said the NDC had consistently demonstrated its commitment to democratic principles and, therefore, called on all members to preserve the party’s unity as they prepared for the internal elections.
Sulemana Mumuni made the appeal in an interview with Adom News during the vetting of 55 aspirants seeking various constituency executive positions ahead of the 2028 general elections.
He assured the aspirants that the party hierarchy had put in place the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth, transparent and credible vetting process.
The Regional Organiser also urged all candidates to conduct clean and issue-based campaigns, reminding them that the contest was an internal party election and should not create divisions among members.
Meanwhile, some of the aspirants who spoke to Adom News after undergoing vetting at the Krachi West Constituency shared their visions and aspirations for the party.
They appealed to delegates to have confidence in their leadership abilities and support them with their votes to enable them to contribute effectively to the growth and development of the NDC in the constituency.
