The weekend’s fixtures began on Saturday and concluded on Sunday, with defending champions Medeama also dropping points in Tema.
Vision FC earned a 1-1 draw against Medeama at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex after Naziru Alhassan Nyeney gave the hosts an eighth-minute lead before Kingsley Braye equalised two minutes into the second half.
Heart of Lions and Swedru All Blacks also shared the points in a goalless draw at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
On Sunday, Hearts of Oak were frustrated by Bechem United in another 0-0 draw at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Aduana FC claimed one of the weekend’s dramatic victories, beating Karela United 2-1 at Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
Stephen Amankona opened the scoring before Nyaba Iddi Mahfuz equalised for Karela after the break. Shawkan Mohammed then struck deep into stoppage time to secure all three points for the hosts.
Basake Holy Stars edged FC AshantiGold 1-0 at AAK II Park thanks to Hudson Joseph’s first-half winner.
Debibi United recorded the biggest home victory of the weekend with a 3-0 win over Young Apostles, inspired by Kwadwo Obeng Junior’s first-half brace before Ibrahim Alhassan completed the scoring.
Bibiani Gold Stars produced the comeback of the round with a 3-2 win over Dreams FC at Tuba Astro Turf.
Abdul Razak Salifu put Dreams ahead early, Michael Nkoah levelled for Gold Stars, and Mohammad Shaban restored the hosts’ advantage. But Evans Adomako equalised in the 81st minute before Bernard Kesse’s stoppage-time winner completed the turnaround.
Debutants Port City FC continued their impressive start with a 2-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea at Nana Boamah Park.
Francis Gyetuah scored inside two minutes to give Port City the lead, and after Jamal Haruna equalised for Chelsea, Gyetuah grabbed a late winner.
