The National Officers Elections Committee (NOEC) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has paid a courtesy visit to former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as part of preparations towards the party’s 2026 National Delegates Conference.
The committee visited the former President at his office to formally invite him to the conference, which is expected to form part of the NPP’s preparations for the election of its national officers.

During the meeting, Nana Akufo-Addo commended the NOEC for the work undertaken so far towards organising the conference and the national officers election process.
He also stressed the importance of the conference to the party’s internal organisation, particularly efforts to strengthen its grassroots structures.

According to the NOEC, the former President expressed support for its work and assured the committee of his attendance at the conference.
Nana Akufo-Addo also spoke about the party’s prospects ahead of the 2028 general election, emphasising the need for unity, renewed commitment and a strong organisational foundation.

The engagement forms part of consultations and preparations ahead of the NPP’s national officers elections, which are intended to determine the party’s next crop of national executives.
The NOEC expressed appreciation to the former President for his reception, counsel and support as the committee continues preparations for the conference.
