The Director-General of the Ghana TVET Service, Engr. Dr. Eric Kofi Adzroe, has assured parents and guardians facing challenges with school placement that their concerns will be addressed promptly.
Dr. Adzroe gave the assurance when he visited the National Resolution Centre, which has been activated for three weeks to receive and resolve complaints relating to school placements and other concerns raised by parents and students.
Speaking to Adom News, the TVET Service Director-General said his visit was to assess the operations of the Centre firsthand and ensure that TVET-related cases receive the necessary attention and are resolved without unnecessary delays.
He said the Centre has already made significant progress, resolving more than 3,000 placement-related challenges since it began operations.
Dr. Adzroe explained that the Centre is aimed at providing intensive support to affected parents and students, while improving coordination among the relevant institutions involved in the placement process.
He said the initiative is also intended to make the process more transparent, efficient and less stressful for parents and students seeking placement in Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions.
The TVET Service Director-General urged parents and students who are still experiencing placement difficulties to take advantage of the Centre and seek assistance.
