Almost 24 hours after a back-and-forth with Stonebwoy, Rap God Sarkodie has brought an unexpected lighter moment to a feud that had reignited conversations about unity in Ghana’s music industry.

Stonebwoy, while dissecting Sarkodie’s recent response to him during a live interview, insisted that despite their differences, he has no bad blood with the rapper and maintains respect for him.

In attempt to demonstrate the cordial relationship between them, Stonebwoy recalled hosting Sarkodie and treating him to a feast of jollof rice which he specially prepared for the rapper.

That detail quickly became the comic relief in an otherwise intense exchange between the two music heavyweights.

Social media users seized on the jollof revelation and flooded the timelines with memes, throwback photos and posts highlighting Sarkodie’s well-known love for the staple dish.

Some dug up old interviews in which the rapper mentioned jollof as his favourite meal.

What appeared to be harmless trolling, however, caught Sarkodie’s attention, and his response has triggered another round of humour.

Borrowing words from Osofo Kyiri Abosom’s viral video, Sarkodie reminded that actions would eventually have consequences.

In a comical tone, he warned the social media jokers that their “downfall is near” and that they would eventually “meet their end one after the other.”

Sarkodie also questioned why some people were seemingly determined to deny him the freedom to live his life without being dragged into online drama.

He tweeted, “Those fooling on social media, await your end, you will see what will happen to you. The God who lives in me will end your lives one after the other. Why don’t you want a son of God to enjoy his freedom?

Sarkodie also described himself as someone who does not usually engage in public drama, cautioning people not to mistake his silence for weakness.

“Anyone who comes online to brag, continue, your downfall is near. For now I can only laugh but all of you will meet your end one after the other. When you meet someone who doesn’t like talking or reacting to drama, be wary of them, they are dangerous. I am a spiritual person so my dealings is in the spiritual world so go ahead,’ the post added.
