Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has paid a courtesy visit to the Ashanti Regional Police Command as he wrapped up his stay in Kumasi.

The musician visited the Ashanti Regional Police Headquarters, where he met the Regional Police Commander, COP Arthur Osei-Akoto, as part of his engagements in the regional capital.

His visit to the Police Command was the final stop on an itinerary that changed after his planned concert at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) was cancelled over security concerns and expectations of a large crowd.

The cancellation forced the artiste and his team to adjust their plans, with Shatta Wale subsequently engaging in other activities during his time in Kumasi.

Despite the cancellation of the KNUST show, the dancehall star still attracted significant attention during his stay, with large crowds turning up to receive him at various points.

He also performed at Stamford Lounge and Bar, where he delivered a high-energy performance before continuing his engagements in the city.

Videos from his departure showed Shatta Wale leaving Kumasi in luxury vehicles alongside members of his team after the series of engagements.

His final appearance in the regional capital, however, was a more formal one as he visited the Police Command to meet with COP Arthur Osei-Akoto.
