Chef Abby is set to host the second edition of The Big Street Feast, a large-scale food initiative that seeks to provide meals to people on the streets of Accra and Kumasi.
The event, scheduled for October 16, 2026, to coincide with World Food Day, is expected to feed more than 50,000 people across the two cities.
Announcing the initiative, Chef Abby called for support from individuals, organisations and other stakeholders to help make the second edition a success.
She said the scale of this year’s event means she cannot undertake the project alone and urged the public to contribute towards the initiative.

The initiative is expected to bring together volunteers and supporters to provide food to people who may otherwise struggle to afford regular meals.
