Singing, dancing and excitement filled the air at Asumaja as Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena and members of the Kristo Asafo Mission extended a humanitarian gesture to residents of the community.
The donation exercise brought together members of the community, family representatives and the Police as Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena led the team to the birthplace of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.
More than 500 pieces of clothing were donated to residents, with elderly women among those who received the items.
The presentation was marked by music, dancing and warm interactions between the Kristo Asafo Mission delegation and community members, creating a lively atmosphere around what was intended as a gesture of care and support.
Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena personally presented pieces of cloth to some of the elderly women, who expressed appreciation for the gesture.
The visit to Asumaja also carried a strong sense of connection to the legacy of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, whose roots are traced to the community.
