The conference, held at the Faculty Auditorium under the theme, “Transitioning to Industry: Building Futures,” brought together final-year students, faculty members and heads of department for discussions on career development, mentorship, leadership and workplace preparedness.
Addressing participants, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. F.K. Bondinuba, stressed the importance of preparing students not only academically but also professionally to meet the demands of the working world.
In a gesture of reflection and accountability, Prof. Bondinuba acknowledged that some students might have encountered challenges during their studies and apologised on behalf of the Faculty and the University for any inconveniences arising from administrative processes, communication gaps or other institutional shortcomings.

He said institutions must continuously strive to improve their services and assured the students that their feedback and experiences would help enhance service delivery and academic support at the University.
The Dean also commended the graduating students for their patience, commitment and loyalty throughout their academic journey.
He encouraged them to embrace lifelong learning, uphold professionalism and integrity, and approach the job market with confidence while seeking opportunities to create value for society.
Faculty members and industry experts who addressed the conference also shared practical insights into career opportunities, workplace expectations, entrepreneurship, networking and emerging trends within the built and natural environment sector.
The speakers included the Vice Dean and Head of the Department of Estate Management, Dr Amakie Boakye Agyemang; Dr Aloysius Sam; Dr Ebenezer Afrane; Dr Mary Amoah; Dr Kasim Iddrisu; and Miss Susan Djokoto.

Participants also engaged in question-and-answer sessions, received mentorship guidance and interacted with professionals from various fields.

As the students prepare for graduation and the next phase of their careers, the University authorities expressed confidence that the knowledge and experiences gained from the conference would provide a strong foundation for their future success.
