After weeks of intense competition, unforgettable performances and a journey that tested talent, confidence and stage presence, Kobby has emerged as the winner of Nsoromma Season 8.
Kobby was crowned the champion at the grand finale held at West Hills Mall, bringing an exciting end to a 13-week musical journey that began with auditions involving several young talents from across the country.
From the early stages of the competition through to the live shows, Kobby consistently impressed the judges and viewers with his vocal ability, versatility and command of the stage.
His outstanding performances earned him recognition as one of the strongest contestants of the season, with several standout moments that saw him named best performer of the night on multiple occasions.
Beyond the judges’ praise, Kobby also became a fan favourite, winning the admiration and support of viewers who followed his progress throughout the competition.
His victory means he takes over the crown from Ohemaa Emily, the winner of Nsoromma Season 7, as the latest young talent to be celebrated on the music reality show.
As the winner of Nsoromma Season 8, Kobby received a GH¢30,000 cash prize, a trip from Kenya to Dubai, products from sponsors and a certificate of participation.
At the grand finale, Selorm The Wonder finished as the first runner-up, taking home GH¢20,000 alongside products from sponsors (including Laptop, Lavonce, Franko, Yumvita, Kivo, Didi Shito, Standard Mineral Water and Oba Spaghetti) and a certificate of participation.

Ghana Besiaba was named the second runner-up, receiving GH¢15,000, sponsor products and a certificate of participation.

Soft Lyf placed as the third runner-up, winning GH¢10,000, products from sponsors, as well as a certificate of participation.

Kobby’s victory marks the beginning of a new chapter for the young performer, whose journey from auditions to the Nsoromma stage has positioned him as one of the promising new voices to watch in Ghana’s music scene.
