BRUHM, one of Ghana’s leading home appliances and electronics brands, has officially launched BRUHM Honours Legends, a national tribute campaign dedicated to celebrating Ghanaian football legends whose contributions helped build the game and create some of the nation’s most cherished football memories.

Under the theme “The Men Behind Our Greatest Football Memories”, the campaign shines a spotlight on five legendary figures whose journeys represent the values that have shaped Ghanaian football across generations: Mohammed Polo, Rev. Osei Kofi, Dan Quaye, Ibrahim Sunday, and Nii Odartey Lamptey.

At a time when football conversations are dominated by match results, transfer news, and tournament excitement, BRUHM is choosing to focus on something deeper: the men whose passion, sacrifice, discipline, resilience, and patriotism laid the foundation for the game Ghanaians love today.

BRUHM Honours Legends is anchored by a powerful documentary-style film that explores the legacy, challenges, achievements, and enduring impact of the featured legends.

Through personal reflections and emotional storytelling, audiences are taken beyond the trophies and accolades to discover the human and success stories behind the legends.

Speaking on the launch of the campaign, Roshanak Taheri, Head of Marketing at BRUHM, said, “With BRUHM Honours Legends, we wanted to move beyond football-season hype and honour the foundation behind the game Ghana loves. These legends may not always be part of today’s conversation, but their contribution lives on in the pride, passion, and memories football continues to create for the nation.

He added, “Football is more than a sport in Ghana; it is part of our identity, our homes, and our shared experiences. Through this campaign, we are celebrating the men whose sacrifices, discipline, and achievements helped create those moments and inspire generations of Ghanaians.”

Football in Ghana has always been about more than what happens on the pitch. It lives in hearts, homes, communities, viewing centres, schools, workplaces, and neighbourhoods where people gather to celebrate victories, debate performances, and share unforgettable moments.

For BRUHM, a brand built around the home and the everyday spaces where life happens, these football memories hold a special significance.

The same homes where families gather around a BRUHM television to watch a match are the homes where stories of Ghana’s football heroes are remembered and passed from one generation to the next.

Through #BRUHMHonoursLegends, BRUHM extends its commitment to those shared moments by recognising the individuals whose dedication helped create them.

Each legend featured in the campaign represents a unique chapter of Ghana’s football journey.

Mohammed Polo embodies the artistry, flair, and imagination that made Ghanaian football unforgettable. Rev. Osei Kofi represents discipline, dignity, humility, and national pride.

Dan Quaye serves as a bridge between football’s rich heritage and the generations that carried Ghana’s name onto the global stage.

Ibrahim Sunday symbolises courage, excellence, and the ability to inspire beyond borders. Nii Odartey Lamptey’s story reflects resilience, perseverance, and the lessons that come from navigating both success and adversity.

Together, their stories reinforce the values at the heart of the campaign: respect, resilience, pride, togetherness, and legacy.

BRUHM Honours Legends’s hero film follows the legends through five key chapters: their dreams, their journeys, their moments of glory, the legacy they continue to build, and the lessons they wish to pass on to the next generation.

In doing so, it reminds audiences that great legends are not born overnight. They are shaped by commitment, sacrifice, perseverance, and character.

As part of the campaign, Ghanaians will also be invited to engage with the stories through a dedicated digital experience on https://bruhm.com/bruhm-honours-legends/ featuring individual legend profiles and an interactive quiz designed to test football knowledge and celebrate the campaign’s themes.

Participants who successfully complete the quiz will stand the chance to win a BRUHM Air Fryer as well as exclusive invitations to attend the BRUHM Honours Legends Closing Dinner alongside the featured football legends.

Beyond celebrating the past, BRUHM Honours Legends seeks to inspire the future. The campaign serves as a reminder to young footballers and aspiring leaders that success is built on discipline, humility, hard work, courage, and belief in one’s dreams.

Because while trophies may gather dust and matches may fade into history, the values that built football’s greatest legends continue to inspire generations.

Through BRUHM Honours Legends, Ghana is invited to remember, celebrate, and honour some of the men whose stories helped shape the nation’s football identity and greatest football memories.
