The Minority Leader in Parliament and Member of Parliament for Effutu, Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, has urged members of the New Patriotic Party (New Patriotic Party) to remain united, stressing that the party only loses elections when it is divided.
He made the remarks during an engagement with the Western North NPP Youth Wing at Sefwi Wiawso, where he encouraged the youth to intensify efforts to rebuild the party and position it for victory in the 2028 general election.
Afenyo-Markin emphasized that unity, hard work, and commitment among members would be key to returning the NPP to power.
He further noted that the party’s presidential candidate, Mahamudu Bawumia, is working behind the scenes to unite the party leadership after the primaries to strengthen their chances ahead of the 2028 elections.
