Danfa, Madina traditional authorities donate land to support TVET expansion

The Ghana TVET Service has expressed appreciation to the Danfa and Madina Traditional Authorities for donating land to support the expansion of technical and vocational education and training in the country.

The donation is expected to facilitate the development of infrastructure aimed at improving access to skills training and strengthening technical education for young people.

According to the Ghana TVET Service, the gesture demonstrates the important role traditional authorities continue to play in advancing education and supporting national development through strategic partnerships.

The Service noted that expanding technical and vocational education remains critical to equipping the youth with industry-relevant skills needed to enhance employability, entrepreneurship and economic growth.

Officials further indicated that the collaboration would contribute to creating more opportunities for quality skills training while supporting efforts to develop a workforce capable of meeting the demands of modern industries.

The Ghana TVET Service reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with traditional leaders, communities and other stakeholders to promote technical education and transform lives through skills development.

The Service described the land donation as a significant contribution towards strengthening educational infrastructure and advancing sustainable community development.
