Ambassador Ben Nixon Arthur-Hagan emerged as one of the biggest winners at the 2026 Africa Youth Leaders Awards held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Accra City Hotel in Accra.
The renowned educator, author, researcher and youth advocate received the “Overall Humanitarian Impact Leader” and “Overall Prominent Leader of the Year” awards for his outstanding contribution to education, youth empowerment and community development in Ghana.
The event, organised by Kensvic Communications under the theme “Beyond Borders: Shaping Africa’s Next Era of Influence and Transformation,” brought together personalities from politics, traditional leadership, business, media and youth advocacy across Africa.
Ambassador Ben Nixon Arthur-Hagan, who is the founder of Best Brains Senior High and Remedial School, was recognised for his dedication to education, mentorship and national development.
Aside from his contribution to education, he has also played active roles in peacebuilding, leadership advocacy and youth development initiatives across the country.
Speaking after receiving the awards, he thanked the organisers for the honour and urged African youth to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to making positive impact in society.
Several notable personalities were also honoured during the event for their contributions in various sectors, including leadership, media, innovation, business, and public service.
