Chiefs in Kasapin in the Ahafo Region have expressed optimism that the ongoing Bediako–Kasapin road project will be completed on schedule to address the long-standing challenges faced by commuters and residents.
Speaking to Adom News, the Kyidomhene of Kasapin, Nana Afrifa Yamoah, said the deplorable state of the road had been neglected for more than eight years, posing serious risks to motorists and people living along the stretch.
According to him, the return of the contractor to site under the government’s “Big Push” initiative has renewed hope among residents and traditional authorities.
He disclosed that during a recent inspection of the road, the Minister for Roads and Highways directed the contractor to expedite work to meet the project completion deadline of November 30, 2027.

Meanwhile, the Project Manager of Delovely Company Limited, Fredrick Tetteh Aga, assured government, chiefs and residents that the company is committed to completing the project on time.
He stated that the company has adequate equipment and human resources to execute the work efficiently and help ease the difficulties commuters and residents have endured over the years.
