The Ghana Police Service has arrested two individuals in connection with the disappearance of a couple, Dr. Jesse Amuah and Mrs. Elizabeth Esi Amuah, who have not been seen for more than a month.

According to police, a formal complaint was lodged on April 22, 2026, stating that the couple had been unreachable since March 23, 2026. The complainant indicated that the couple’s residence remained locked, while their Nissan Sunny was missing from the premises. Repeated efforts to contact them also proved unsuccessful.

Following the report, a joint team comprising personnel from the Missing Persons Unit, the Anti-Armed Robbery Unit, and the Crime Scene Management Team was deployed to investigate the case.

Police said the team has since visited the couple’s residence and followed several leads, resulting in the arrest of two suspects. The identities of the suspects have been withheld to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation.

The suspects are currently assisting police with investigations, as efforts intensify to locate the missing couple.

The police are appealing to the public to provide any credible information that could help trace Dr. Jesse Amuah and Mrs. Elizabeth Esi Amuah. Persons with relevant details are encouraged to report to the nearest police station for immediate action.
