Assin South Member of Parliament (MP) and sponsor of the Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Bill, 2025, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, has denied claims of any sexual relationship with a transgender musician.

His response comes amid ongoing stakeholder deliberations on the bill, popularly known as the Anti-LGBTQ+ Bill, where comments by the MP for Ningo-Prampram, Samuel Nartey George, have reignited public debate.

During the discussions, Mr. George, while explaining the bill, warned of possible prosecution for individuals who publicly identify as part of the LGBT community if the legislation is passed, citing allegations involving Ntim Fordjour.

However, the former Deputy Education Minister firmly dismissed the claims as false and unfounded.

“Chairman, my name has come up and it is important that I respond. In her old or present life, contrary to his or her claim that she has had pervasive intercourse with me, I have never engaged in any sexual intercourse apart from what God created, Adam and Eve,” he stated.
