Gospel musician Joe Mettle has been unveiled as the new brand ambassador for Sunny Gold products, a line produced by OXY Industries.
The unveiling took place at a brief ceremony where the award-winning artiste officially signed on to represent the brand and promote locally manufactured products.
Speaking at the event, the General Manager of OXY Industries, Kwaku Asamoah, said the partnership forms part of efforts to strengthen the visibility of Ghanaian-made products and encourage increased patronage.
He noted that local manufacturers have consistently demonstrated their capacity to produce quality goods that can compete both locally and internationally, urging Ghanaians to support such initiatives.
Mr Asamoah further called on consumers not to hesitate in choosing made-in-Ghana products, emphasising that sustained patronage will help grow the sector and boost the national economy.
In his acceptance remarks, Joe Mettle expressed excitement about the new role and pledged to use his platform to promote the brand.
He also encouraged Ghanaians, both at home and abroad, to support locally produced goods, stressing that doing so would inspire more investment in the manufacturing sector and create opportunities for businesses to thrive.
