Helicopter crash: Bawumia sends delegation to commiserate with family of Elder Frank Donkor

A week after a tragic helicopter crash in Tema claimed two lives, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mahamudu Bawumia, has sent a high-powered delegation to commiserate with the bereaved family.

The crash, which occurred on Monday, March 16 at the premises of the Tema TMA Day Care Centre in Tema, reportedly saw the aircraft go down before catching fire, killing both occupants on board.

The victims have been identified as Frank Amoaning Donkor, 36, a flight instructor, and Elijah Ofori Donkor, 25, a university graduate, both sons of Elder Frank Donkor

In response to the incident, Dr. Bawumia dispatched a delegation led by Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, to visit the family of Elder Frank Donkor and offer condolences.

The delegation included Chief Whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh, Campaign Manager Frederick Opare-Ansah, Communications Advisor Yaw Osafo-Maafo Akomea, and Senior Advisor Fred Oware, among other party officials.

The visit was marked by a solemn atmosphere, as prayers were offered for the bereaved family.

The delegation conveyed Dr. Bawumia’s sympathies and assured the family of the party’s support during this difficult period.
