The Black Stars of Ghana will set up camp at Bryant University in Rhode Island for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, according to a report by NBC 10 News.

The team is expected to use the university’s facilities as their training base for the tournament, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The report indicates that Ocean State 2026 will formally confirm Ghana’s choice of Bryant University at a press conference scheduled for next week.

The institution was included in FIFA’s official Base Camp Brochure following a series of detailed inspections and assessment visits by the world football governing body.

Bryant’s athletic complex is no stranger to elite sport. For nearly two decades, it served as the training camp home of the New England Patriots, underlining the standard of facilities available to Otto Addo’s side.

Ghana will be making their fifth appearance at the Mundial and have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia.

The Black Stars begin their campaign against Panama on June 17, before taking on England six days later. Their final group fixture will be against Croatia on June 27.

In the build-up to the tournament, head coach Otto Addo is expected to assemble his squad in March for a series of international friendlies against Austria and Germany, followed by another preparatory clash with Mexico in May as Ghana fine-tune their preparations for the global showpiece.
