The Ralph Poku-Adusei, Member of Parliament for Bekwai, has donated a substantial relief package to Danyaseman Catholic Senior High School, which recently suffered a devastating disaster.

The donation, presented on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, included 100 bags of cement, 10 packets of roofing sheets, and GHS 5,000 in cash.

Accompanied by officials from the Municipal Education Directorate, the MP acknowledged the school’s ongoing infrastructure challenges since 2010 and assured staff and students of his commitment to supporting the institution.

Notably, at the time of the donation, neither NADMO nor the Municipal Assembly had provided aid, despite the severity of the situation.

Hon. Poku-Adusei, leaving his parliamentary duties, intervened directly after witnessing the devastation firsthand, bypassing bureaucratic delays to respond swiftly. He also praised teachers for their dedication, noting their efforts in funding a three-unit classroom block and the headmaster’s office.

The headmaster expressed appreciation for the MP’s timely intervention, noting that aside from a boys’ dormitory built since 2010, this is the first donation from a Member of Parliament to support the school.

School authorities have welcomed the relief items, stating that they will aid the school’s recovery and support the continued provision of quality education.
