Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito has praised his squad, insisting they have the finest talent in Ghana’s top-flight league.
The Porcupine Warriors sit second in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League standings, eight points behind leaders Medeama SC, who have 43 points.
Kotoko head into Saturday’s clash with Heart of Lions at Kpando Sports Stadium on the back of a commanding 3-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars.
Speaking ahead of the match, Zito expressed unwavering confidence in his players, describing his team as the best in the country and stressing that a change in mentality could unlock their full potential.
“I see that we have the best players in Ghana. What we need is to build the team and change the mentality, and you will see the best out of them,” the veteran coach said.
Kick-off at Kpando Sports Stadium is scheduled for 15:30 GMT.
