Award-winning rapper Sarkodie has paid an emotional tribute to legendary Ghanaian gospel musician Yaw Sarpong following news of his passing, describing him as a pillar of faith whose music shaped generations.
In a post shared on social media, Sarkodie expressed gratitude to the revered choir leader and songwriter for his impact on Christian music and spirituality in Ghana.
“RIP wofa Yaw Sarpong … Thank you for strengthening our faith in the almighty… may he keep you safe,” Sarkodie wrote.
