Renowned road contractor Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife, Esther Gyebi, have saved the life of a young leukemia patient, Savior Agyei, through a GHC 80,000 medical donation.

Savior was diagnosed with leukemia, a cancer of the blood, and placed on an emergency treatment list at the Kumasi South Hospital in the Ashanti Region. Due to severe financial difficulties, her family was unable to raise the funds needed for treatment, leaving them in a desperate situation.

However, after learning about the child’s condition, Mr. Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife, through the Kofi Job Foundation, intervened and covered the full cost of her medical care.

Following the donation, Savior has undergone several rounds of treatment and has moved from a critical emergency state to a stable condition.

During a visit to the hospital, the Public Relations Officer of the Kofi Job Foundation, Kwame Agyenim Boateng, met with Savior’s mother, Juliana Gyebi, who expressed deep gratitude for the support.

“On the first day of our visit, we needed 5,000 cedis for scans, medicines, and other expenses. I had nothing and felt I was going to lose my precious daughter,” she recounted emotionally.

“Thanks to Mr. Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife, they generously donated this huge amount — a sum I never thought I would see in my lifetime.”

Pediatric Oncologist at the hospital, Dr. Alimatu Salam, confirmed that Savior’s condition had been critical, largely due to delays caused by financial constraints.

“After the Kofi Job Foundation’s intervention, her treatment has progressed smoothly, and her health has improved significantly,” she said, commending the foundation for its life-saving support.
