Hearts of Oak head coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani has emphasised the importance of maintaining consistency as the club pushes forward in the Ghana Premier League.

His comments followed the Phobians’ hard-fought 1-0 victory over FC Samartex on Friday at the University of Ghana Stadium in Matchday 16.

Hamza Issah’s first-half strike proved decisive, securing all three points for the home side.

Speaking after the match, Dramani highlighted the need for deliberate, consistent performances.

“We have to be deliberate, and to be deliberate means that this is how we have to go; we have to be consistent. The consistency is that you will see us doing the same things all over again, and the last part is that we need to understand each other and be patient.

“If we are talking about identity, there will be times when there are challenges, there will be times when we will show our strengths, so when the challenges come, we need to bear with them.

“For me in my team, every player is important, I’ve played every player [and] the young ones, I’m bringing them at the right time so that they can be more adaptive,” he added.

Under Dramani’s guidance, Hearts of Oak have recorded seven wins, seven draws, and two losses, sitting second on the league table with 28 points.

The club will round off the first half of the season with a crucial away clash against title contenders Medeama SC at the TNA Park on Sunday, January 4.
