A 60-year-old long-distance walker, renowned across Ghana for his extraordinary endurance feats, has embarked on a remarkable mission to raise awareness about prostate cancer.
Desire Ceaser, popularly known as “The Mosiah Walker Man,” has set off on an 832.4-kilometre journey from Paga to Accra, expected to span 15 days.
This walk forms part of the activities planned for the Candle Light Meditation & Health Walk, scheduled for December 8, 2025.

The awareness campaign officially commenced this morning, with a dedicated support team accompanying him throughout the journey.
Speaking on Adom FM’s 6am News, his manager, Priscilla Agyeiwaa, confirmed that the walk had begun smoothly and emphasized the commitment behind the initiative.

“This is not the first time he is undertaking such a walk. We will follow him in a vehicle while he walks, mostly at night, and he will take rest breaks on certain days,” she said.
She also appealed to the public and donors to support the campaign, describing it as an important initiative to educate Ghanaians about prostate cancer.
