Ghana today marked the 41st National Farmers’ Day, honoring farmers and fishers whose hard work underpins the country’s food security.

The celebration followed a week-long agricultural fair in Ho, which showcased modern farming technologies and innovations.

This year’s theme, “Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana, Secure the Future,” emphasizes the drive for stronger food systems and increased consumption of locally produced goods.

Since its establishment in 1985, Farmers’ Day has become one of Ghana’s most significant national events, recognizing the vital contributions of farmers and fishers to the nation’s development and economic stability.
