We have the quality to beat South Korea – Kamaldeen Sulemana

Black Stars forward Kamaldeen Sulemana is optimistic Ghana can secure a win against South Korea in their upcoming friendly.

The Black Stars will face the Asian side on Tuesday, November 18, at Seoul World Cup Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 11:00 am. Ghana last met South Korea at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, winning 3-2.

Ahead of the clash, the Atalanta forward acknowledged the challenge posed by South Korea’s revamped squad.

“It’s a different team than we played against a few years ago. I know they also have different players. It’s going to be a tough game for us, but I also think we can beat them,” Sulemana said.

He added: “I think we’ve got the quality to beat them. We are going to try to do that. We are very excited to be here.”

The Black Stars began this international window with a 2-0 defeat to Japan on Friday, using these matches to fine-tune preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
