Security personnel have arrested over 300 individuals in a large-scale joint operation currently underway across parts of the Ahafo Region.
The coordinated exercise, which covers several communities including Hwidiem, Kenyasi, Goaso, and Mehame, aims to combat crime, maintain law and order, and enhance public safety.
According to police sources, the operation has so far “been progressing smoothly without any major incidents recorded.”
Earlier briefings indicated that about 30 men and women had been picked up at various locations, but the number has since risen to over 300 as the operation intensifies.
Police officials added that “details, including the profiles of the suspects and the specific offences, will be communicated in due course as the operation continues.”
