The National Service Authority (NSA) has released the first batch of postings for the 2025/2026 service year, deploying 85,159 graduates from accredited tertiary institutions to various public and private sector organisations across Ghana.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the Authority noted that the figure excludes certain categories of personnel—such as teachers, nurses, and midwives—whose placements are still being verified due to data inconsistencies. Their postings, it added, will be published once the verification process is completed.
The NSA explained that the deployment process was carried out meticulously and appealed to the public to appreciate the technical nature of the exercise. It also cautioned prospective service personnel against engaging middlemen or fraudulent agents who claim they can influence or alter postings.
According to the statement, all prospective personnel are required to complete the following steps:
- Check postings at gnsa.gov.gh.
- Print appointment letters and have them endorsed by their assigned institutions.
- Book an appointment online for registration and validation.
- Visit the designated regional registration centres with the endorsed appointment letter and Ghana Card to complete the process.
The regional validation and registration exercise will run from Wednesday, October 29, 2025, to Friday, November 21, 2025, while the official commencement of national service is scheduled for Monday, November 3, 2025.
Director-General of the NSA, Ruth Dela Seddoh, congratulated all newly posted graduates and encouraged them to serve diligently.
She urged them to “embrace the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s socio-economic development through dedicated national service.”
