Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Ifu Ennada has shared an emotional testimony about surviving amnesia, near-death experiences and intense spiritual battles that nearly claimed her life.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the former Big Brother Naija star revealed that for the past one and a half years, she has been battling severe health and spiritual challenges that left her physically weak and mentally disoriented.
According to her, the most terrifying episode occurred on July 23, her birthday, when she woke up unable to remember who she was. She described the experience as frightening and disorienting, saying it felt as though her entire past had been erased.
Despite being shown pictures and videos of her loved ones, she said she could not recognise them, noting that it was as though she had been “placed on a strange planet with no past, no purpose, and no identity.”
However, amid the confusion, Ifu said she miraculously never forgot her faith. She recalled that during the episode, she could only remember the Holy Spirit and her name, “Faith,” which she later connected to the biblical verse in Hebrews 11:1.
She credited her recovery to divine intervention, saying that through prayer, medical treatment, and the unwavering support of her mother, whom she described as a prayer warrior, she gradually regained her memory and strength.
“My testimony is that God intervened, showed me mercy, healed me, and gave me a new meaning to Psalm 118:5. To the glory of His name, I am fully restored,” she shared.
Ifu revealed that her business suffered during her illness but expressed strong faith that God would relaunch it “bigger and better.”
She explained that she decided to go public with her story after being led by the Holy Spirit during the Hallelujah Challenge.
In her message to fans and followers, the actress gave thanks to God for saving her life and urged others never to underestimate the power of divine mercy.
“Please, just help me glorify God because my enemies wanted to unalive me, but He helped me and saved me. I am a woman helped by God,” she declared.
