The Ministry of Education has congratulated the University for Development Studies (UDS) football team for qualifying for the finals of the 2025 World University Games in Dalian, China.
In a statement, the Ministry praised the team’s achievement, describing it as a shining example of discipline, hard work, resilience, and teamwork.
It said the success reflects not only the players’ commitment to excellence but also the power of unity and the indomitable spirit of Ghana.
According to the Ministry, the UDS football team’s feat has brought immense pride and honour to the nation, serving as an inspiration to young people across the country.
The statement expressed confidence that the team could make history by winning gold in the final and lifting Ghana’s image even higher on the global stage.
The Ministry further noted that the Minister of Education has taken inspiration from the accomplishment and accepted the challenge to rejuvenate sports in second-cycle institutions, colleges, and universities.
