The community of Dansoman is buzzing with excitement as the Clash of the Titans Draught Tournament 2025 kicked off on Sunday, 21st September 2025, and is set to climax with the grand finale on Monday, 22nd September 2025.

After a thrilling opening day filled with strategy and suspense, the stage is now set for a historic showdown between Michael Abu, popularly known as Abu National, and Theophilus Quaye, famously called Nii Ayi Chameleon, two of the fiercest competitors in the draught fraternity.

Group Stage Drama

In Group A, Tei topped the standings with a strong win over Kickway, while Kweku Ayigbe’s campaign ended in disappointment.

Group B saw Addae dominate, defeating both Daalin and Kumah to progress.

Group C produced fireworks as Abu National silenced Pollifila and fought past Ardey to secure qualification.

And in Group D, Nii Ayi the Chameleon stood tall, edging Ekow Simple and drawing with Ortega to claim top spot.

Knockout Tension

The quarterfinals delivered high-stakes drama. Tei overcame Daalin, Addae got the better of Kickway, while Nii Ayi Chameleon dispatched Ardey. Abu National, meanwhile, proved too strong for Ortega.

The semifinals then set the stage for the final clash. Chameleon defeated Tei with tactical brilliance, while Abu National outclassed Addae in a tense encounter.

The Road to Glory

On Monday, 22nd September, Dansoman will witness the ultimate test: Michael Abu a.k.a Abu National vs Theophilus Quaye a.k.a Nii Ayi Chameleon in a final that promises fireworks, strategy, and a fight for bragging rights as the 2025 Titan of Draught.

Adding to the glamour of the event, the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Rev. Dr Kweku Addo, and the Municipal Chief Executive, George Nii Kpakpo Allotey, will both grace the grand finale to lend their support and celebrate the growth of draught as a community sport.

Meanwhile, Tei and Addae will contest the third-place playoff, adding another layer of excitement to an already unforgettable tournament.
