Asutifi North DCE pledges to promote rural development

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Asutifi North in the Ahafo region, Dauda Hafiz, has promised to improve development in rural areas under his tenure to reduce challenges faced by residents.

He made the pledge when he visited Yaw Basoakrom, Kwame Mensakrom, Nsuta, Gambia No1, Biaso, Kwadwo Addaikrom and Gambia No2.

Mr. Hafiz explained to the chiefs and people that per his checks there are many rural communities in the district that lack good roads, schools, health facilities, telephone network, among others which is really affecting the lives of residents.

According to him, the absence of these fundamental amenities is affecting the lives of residents and he will do all he can with the support of the technocrats at the assembly to improve development.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Gambia No2, Nana Yeboah Asiamah, advised the DCE to prioritise development so his good works will elevate him to greater heights.

The chief cautioned that if he fails to deliver, his party won’t give him another opportunity.

He stated that all chiefs in the district are solidly behind him, and they will also remember him in their prayers for him to perform to the satisfactory of residents.
