Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, engaged the Functional Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in a meeting marked by goodwill and renewed commitment.
The delegation, led by NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia and General Secretary Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, included other key members of the party’s leadership.

A statement issued by the Office of the Vice President noted that the delegation reaffirmed the party’s unwavering support for Prof. Opoku-Agyemang and extended their best wishes.
In her remarks, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang expressed deep appreciation to the delegation and the broader NDC family for their encouragement and solidarity.

“I am deeply grateful for their continued prayers, solidarity, and encouragement,” she said.

She urged all party members to safeguard the spirit of unity that defines the NDC, especially during challenging times, and to remain focused on the collective goal.
“As we forge ahead, I call for a renewed collective effort toward the national reset agenda led by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama. Together, let us work to deliver on our commitments for the advancement of our beloved nation,” she added.
