Helen Omaboe: How I sacrificed my marriage for NPP [Video]

Actress Helen Tawiah Godschild, popularly known as Helen Omaboe, says she had to cut ties with her husband in America to push the New Patriotic Party (NPP) into power during 2016 elections.

According to her, being a staunch member of the then opposition party, she had to fly from America three days after her marriage to support the campaign.

Narrating her story to host Prince Tsegah on why she had to choose NPP over her husband in her second marriage, Madam Omaboe said:

“You know is because of the love I had for our President Akufo-Addo and the NPP as a whole, I was in USA in 2016 and this time around I felt it in my bones that he was going to win,” she said on Asempa FM‘s Tête-à-Tête show.
