Forty-five-year-old Adiza Ibrahim, a resident of Prang in the Pru East District of the Bono East Region, has won GH¢1 million in the Telecel M’Ahitti Promo.

The huge cash prize has brought excitement to the winner’s family, who say they initially doubted the authenticity of the notification that Ibrahim had won the money.

Speaking in an interview with Adom News, a daughter of the winner, said the family had been participating in the promo for some time.

She explained that one day, they decided to use their mother’s phone to participate in the game, after which their mother received a call informing her that she had won a prize.

According to her, the family initially suspected the call could be from fraudsters, but their doubts were finally cleared when Telecel officially presented the GH¢1 million prize to them.

She has consequently encouraged Ghanaians to take advantage of the promotion, saying anyone who participates could become the next winner.

Customers can participate in the Telecel M’Ahitti Promo by dialing *500#.

Meanwhile, the Consumer Business Director at Telecel M’Ahitti Promo, Aneth Muga, said the promotion was introduced as a way of giving back to customers for their continued trust and loyalty to the company.

She said the initiative is aimed at rewarding customers who continue to patronise Telecel’s services.

The Head of Ashanti and Bono Regional Executive of Telecel, Kwaku Asiedu, also assured the public that the promotion is genuine.

According to him, the promo is being conducted in collaboration with the Ghana National Lottery Authority (NLA), and therefore he urged Ghanaians not to be hesitant about participating.

He encouraged customers to dial *500# and take part in the promotion, stressing that they could be the next lucky winners.
