England midfielder Jude Bellingham has admitted his side’s goalless draw against Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup was a frustrating result.

The Three Lions faced the four-time African champions on Tuesday at Boston Stadium in their second Group L fixture.

Despite dominating possession for large spells of the contest, England were unable to break down a resilient Ghana defence and had to settle for a point.

Speaking after the match, the England national football team star praised Ghana for their disciplined display but expressed disappointment at England’s inability to secure victory.

“Very frustrating. It feels like I think in all the tournaments I’ve been to, it’s been the same, you know, decent performance to start and a good win. And then just the second one frustrated a little bit with how they defended, how they set up, you know, credit to them,” he said.

The result leaves both England and Ghana level on four points at the top of Group L.

England will face Panama in their final group match on Saturday, while Ghana take on Croatia with qualification to the knockout stage still hanging in the balance.
