Zito hails Hearts coach Didi Dramani as one of Ghana’s finest

Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has heaped praise on Hearts of Oak boss Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, describing him as one of the finest tacticians in Ghana.

Zito’s commendation follows Kotoko’s 2-1 victory over their arch-rivals in Sunday’s 2025 President’s Cup clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Dramani, who recently succeeded Aboubakar Ouattara on a two-year contract, was hoping to mark his debut with silverware.

Despite the defeat, Zito acknowledged the former Black Stars assistant coach’s deep understanding of the game and strong tactical acumen.

“Didi Dramani is one of the best coaches in the country,” he told Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show.
“He is tactically and psychologically sound, and he is someone who reads and understands the game well,” he added.

Hearts of Oak took the lead through Hamza Issah, but Kotoko responded strongly in the second half, with Peter Acquah Amidu and Kwame Opoku finding the net to secure the win for the Porcupine Warriors.
