Yakubu Yusif has been confirmed as the municipal chief executive (MCE) for the Asante Manpong after receiving 100% endorsement from all 47 assembly members.
All the assembly members and the government appointees voted yes to confirm President Mahama’s nominee for the mampong municipality.
Yakubu Yusif was the NDC parliamentary candidate for Mampong in the 2024 parliamentary election.
Speaking to Adom news after his massive confirmation, he asked for the people’s support to drive development in the municipality.
“I am truly honored by the trust and confidence president Mahama has placed in me and I pledge to uphold the responsibilities of this office with dedication, transparency, and loyalty to the service of good people of Mampong,” he said
