The campaign team of New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman hopeful, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has strongly condemned a series of TikTok videos targeting its campaign executives, describing the content as unwarranted personal attacks that risk undermining discipline and unity.

The videos, posted by a social media user known as “Boya,” allegedly target key figures within the campaign structure, including Archibold Cobbina, who serves as Director of Field Operations and Delegate Mobilisation, Moses Anim, Director of Political Affairs, and Nana Fianko, Director of Special Operations.

In a statement responding to the controversy, the campaign team described the content as unfair, stressing that internal competition should not drift into personal attacks or online hostility. The statement made it clear that the group remains focused on discipline and ideas rather than insults.

“We are committed to a campaign built on vision, competence and unity, not personal attacks or division,” the statement noted, urging supporters to rise above provocation and keep the internal race constructive.

The team further suggested that the pattern of attacks appears politically motivated within the ongoing chairmanship contest, though it avoided naming any direct rival camp. It appealed for restraint, calling on opposing campaign structures to ensure their supporters avoid inflammatory conduct.

The message also reinforced the importance of unity within the NPP, warning that internal hostility could weaken the party’s broader ambitions heading toward 2028.

“We may differ in ambition, but we cannot afford to lose sight of the bigger family we are building together,” the statement implied, framing reconciliation and discipline as central to the party’s future strength.

At the heart of the response was a reminder that internal democracy, while competitive, must remain respectful. As the statement concluded, “Our strength has always been unity, and that is what must carry us forward.”
