The Wells Aid Foundation has donated 500 sanitary pads to girls at the La Nkwantang Cluster of Schools in Madina, including La-Nkwantanang DA 1 & 2 Primary and JHS, to support menstrual hygiene and promote girls’ wellbeing in school.

The initiative was led by talented dancer Maame Yaa Wells, with Dance God Lyyod Academy as part of the Foundation’s care, dignity, and empowerment campaign.

The donation brought relief and encouragement to many students by helping address challenges linked to menstrual health management, which often affects the confidence and education of young girls.

Organisers said the gesture reflects the Foundation’s commitment to promoting dignity, boosting confidence, and improving educational outcomes for girls through access to essential sanitary products.

The Foundation also encouraged the students to maintain good personal hygiene, remain confident during their menstrual periods, and stay focused on their education despite any challenges.

Speaking to Adom TV, Maame Yaa Wells highlighted the importance of supporting young girls with the resources they need to stay healthy and confident in school.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Foundation, describing the donation as timely and helpful.
