Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has urged his players to maintain a winning mentality as the club intensifies its push for the Ghana Premier League title.

The Phobians climbed to second place on the league table following a gritty 1–0 victory over rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The result leaves Hearts five points behind leaders Medeama, but firmly in the title race.

Reflecting on the Super Clash, Dramani highlighted his side’s tactical discipline and focus.

“We appreciated their [Kotoko] strengths and understood our own strengths, and we knew there would be moments when we would control the game,” Dramani said in a post-match interview.

“The most important thing is to maintain consistency and keep winning matches.

“If you want to become champions, we have to win games; it is not about how you play.”

Hearts of Oak will look to build on their momentum this weekend when they host Berekum Chelsea in their Matchday 23 fixture at the University of Ghana Stadium.
