Interim head coach of Asante Kotoko, Abdul Karim Zito, has expressed his team’s strong desire to win the 2024/25 FA Cup title.
The Porcupine Warriors are set to face Ghana Premier League rivals Berekum Chelsea in a crucial semifinal encounter on Sunday at TNA Park in Tarkwa.
In a pre-match interview, Zito emphasized his team’s determination to reach the final but acknowledged the tough challenge ahead.
“It’s never easy. It’s very difficult. I know what he [Coach Samuel Boadu] can do as a coach. It’s been a long time since we won one of this cup, so we are all eager to win, and I know it won’t be easy for us. It will be very difficult,” Coach Zito said.
Sunday’s match is scheduled to kick off at 15:00 GMT.
Meanwhile, the first semifinal fixture between Golden Kick and Attram de Visser Sporting Club will take place today, Saturday, May 10, at the same venue.
