Medeama SC coach Ibrahim Tanko has set his sights on clinching both the Ghana Premier League title and the FA Cup this season.
The Yellow and Mauve secured their place in the FA Cup semifinals with a dominant win over Attram De Visser Academy at the Cape Coast Stadium last week.
Meanwhile, Medeama tops the Ghana Premier League table with 46 points from 25 matches, positioning the club for a potential league and cup double—a historic milestone for the team.
Tanko, however, insists that the club will give equal focus to both competitions, stressing the importance of competing strongly on all fronts.
“I always said we are competing with every cup that we have. So, definitely, we are going for both, and then we’ll see what will happen,” he said.
As Medeama builds momentum atop the league standings, the squad now turns its attention to a crucial Matchday 26 clash against Dreams FC at the Tuba Astro Turf this weekend, hoping to maintain their push toward an unprecedented double.
