WAFU B U-17 Championship: We have the quality to make history – Black Starlets coach

Black Starlets head coach Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum says he has full confidence in his squad as Ghana gears up for the 2025 WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship in Ivory Coast.

The coach unveiled his final 23-man list for the competition on Friday, September 19, expressing faith in the players’ ability to deliver.

“We are confident in the players we have selected,” Narteh Ogum told the Ghana FA website.

“They’ve worked hard over the past weeks, and we believe they have what it takes to compete and bring glory to Ghana,” he added.

Ghana will begin their campaign this afternoon against Togo at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro. Kick-off is at 15:00 GMT.

The Starlets are aiming for a strong start in their quest to qualify for the 2025 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations through the regional tournament.
