The Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, has paid a working visit to local authorities in the Ketu South Municipality as part of ongoing engagements with stakeholders.
Mr. Gunu also inspected land allocated for the construction of a modern market in the region.
The visit aimed to foster collaboration, discuss development projects, and address pressing issues affecting the area.
The Minister met with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ketu South and staff of the Assembly, management of Diamond Cement, the Paramount Chief of Aflao Traditional Area, Togbui Adzonugaga Amenya Fiti V, Torgbiga Adama III, Chief of Somey, Togbui Addo VIII, Paramount Chief of the Kilekor Traditional Council, and other key stakeholders.
They discussed ways to improve infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic opportunities in the region.
The Minister emphasized the importance of teamwork and cooperation between local authorities and the regional government.
He assured the authorities of his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote development and improve the lives of residents.
The MCE and traditional leaders expressed their appreciation for the Minister’s visit, highlighting the need for continued collaboration to address challenges facing the region.
