Volta Regional Fire Service Commander pulled out of serviceĀ

A pull-out ceremony has been held in honour of the Volta Regional Fire Service Commander, DCFO Joy Ayim Ameyibor.

The ceremony, attended by numerous well-wishers, stood as a tribute to DCFO Ameyibor’s outstanding service and the region’s deep appreciation for his unwavering dedication to their safety.

In his address, the Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, stated that he will forever be missed.

Mr. Gunu praised DCFO Ameyibor for his dedication, bravery, and efforts in saving countless lives and properties, noting that his leadership and expertise were key in shaping the region’s fire safety protocols.

“Senior, we will forever miss you for your kind demeanour and towards RESEC and the region at large,” he said, his words echoing through the crowded ground.

 

“For your dedicated service and commitment to our region. Your leadership and expertise have been invaluable, and your departure will be deeply felt. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours,” Mr. Gunu stated.

In recognition of his years of service, DCFO Ameyibor was presented with a citation, portions of which read “Your legacy will live on, and your impact will be felt for generations to come,” he said, his voice filled with appreciation.

For his part, DCFO Ameyibor expressed heartfelt gratitude to his team, municipal and district commanders, chiefs, queen mothers, family members, and the entire Volta Region for their unwavering support.

As he handed over to his successor, he acknowledged that his departure would leave a void but expressed confidence that the region’s fire service would continue to thrive.
