Vision FC head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang has expressed his frustration after his side fell 1–0 to Hearts of Oak in Saturday’s Ghana Premier League clash.

The Tema-based side suffered the narrow defeat at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Matchday 12, with Mawuli Wayo’s first-half header proving decisive and handing Hearts all three points.

Speaking after the match, Agyemang did not hide his disappointment, particularly because the goal resulted from a situation his team had repeatedly drilled in training. He lamented the defensive lapse, noting that Vision FC had spent the week fine-tuning their response to set pieces.

“Whenever there is a free kick into the box or corner kick, the first thing you should do is to cover the far post, and you realise that we conceded the goal from the far post,” he said.

“It is very disappointing, especially if it is something that you’ve worked on the whole week; you come into the game, and the boys are not able to do it. It’s very disappointing,” Agyemang added.

The loss leaves Vision FC in 10th place on the table with 14 points. They now turn their attention to their next assignment, a home fixture against Young Apostles at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Matchday 13.
